Are you a lifelong learner?
Yes, I am a lifelong learner.
It is so ironic to find that I actually work in the Open and Distance Learning university system as a practitioner.
The core extent of our practice is to give people lifelong access to education.
However, my curious mind is the major reason I have remained a lifelong learner. Bishod David Oyedepo is fond of saying that when you stop learning, you start dying. So, obviously, if you are not a lifelong learner, you may fittingly be called a lifelong corpse.
I love to write. So, I love to read.
But much more, I love to develop myself. They say curiosity killed the cat. I am no cat so curiosity only makes me smarter.
When I have to pay money for the knowledge, I pay for it. When people see me shine, they wonder if I was doing magic. I love learning. So, being a life long learner for me is about being a person who continues to seek out knowledge, interrogate knowledge and evaluate issues. I don’t follow trends; I follow my conviction. And I learned to make these informed decisions through quality knowledge acquisition.
The greatest source of my learning remains my Bible though. I study it every day.
