Today marked the conclusion of Cohort 1 of the Mastering Research to Earn programme of Mastering Research Academy.
The core focus of this programme is to teach researchers how to master the required skills to do independent research in order to produce effective publications at the end of the 6-week programme. In essence, our focus is goal-driven, and the goal was achieved.
The capstone project was actually a ready-to-publish paper by the students. It was an awesome and fulfilling experience.
I am glad that I listened and created the programme to help serious researchers to find their feet in the sometimes challenging world of doing research. There are more problems related to the structure and processes than a lack of ideas in itself. These are what we hope to help students to overcome and master at the end of the programme.
